It's been a long winter for some of us in northern climates, but it looks like it's finally spring and time to get ready for outdoor activities.

Summer Concerts at the Crescent


Quality family time every week all summer long!

If you have never been to the Concerts at the Crescent in Greenwood Village during the summer, you are missing out.  This is the 17th year and it looks to be a great lineup.  The series kicks off on June 5th with Boom Boom Pow and continues through the end of July.

Metro CrimeStoppers and local law enforcement will be hosting its annual Shred-a-thon fundraising event. Volunteers with Crime Stoppers and local law enforcement agencies will take donations at all five locations. Documents will be shredded on scene, with law enforcement officers present. The Shred-it Company will shred up to three legal-sized paper boxes of documents (the equivalent of three garbage bags.)

I saw this awesome idea on Pinterest and it inspired me to try my own take on it! My kids love it and it was so easy and fun to make! 

Supplies:  
Hair gel (cheap stuff from the a dollar store)
Glitter
Duct tape
Cardboard
Clear plastic bag


Step 1: Measure approximately 5-6 ounces of hair gel and mix in as much glitter as you want!


Step 2: Pour mixture into a clear food storage bag and get as much air out as possible and seal bag.
